Experiencia fantaástica!

El vehiculo se encontraba en muy buen estado y nos brindó una excelente esperiencia. El trato con el propietario muy bueno.

Aun ser altos, pudimos dormir en buenas condiciones y desplazarnos con facilidad.

Ha sido nuestra primera vez en camper y muy recomendable!

Viaggio indimenticabile. É stata la mia primissima esperienza in Van ed è stato tutto perfetto! Leonardo é stato da subito disponibile e attento nel fornirci consigli preziosi sui luoghi del Portogallo da visitare. Il van era in condizioni perfette. Oltre ad essere esteticamente bellissimo era pulitissimo e comodo, equipaggiato di tutti gli accessori necessari. Consiglio fortemente Leonardo e i suoi Van per la professionalità e la disponibilità a 360 gradi.

beautifull experience in this easy drive little van, perfectly organise, well maintain, simple and clean. leonardo and his team have been so gentle and reactive. If you look for a relaxing holiday this is the perfect way in portugal, retro and perfectly functional to the goal, seems to ne in a film, freedom like on a little sail boat hoping on the coast, form the land, surf board can be hang inside and the size like a car allow you to go everywhere from little village to desert beach (avoid deep sand road and remember this iis a back traction van) enjoy! i will again

Très chouette van. Look old school d’enfer, propreté impeccable. Petite taille permettant d’aller partout. Nous avons eu beaucoup de bon temps!

Les points négatifs, les équipements se limitent au strict nécessaire: le minimum au niveau de la vaisselle, pas d’essuie de vaisselle, pas de fourniture de base pour cuisiner. Peu d’espace de rangement.

Le van est confortable, joli et tres propre. Le propriétaire est sympa, réactif et se bons conseils pour le road trip. Je recommande fortement, les yeux fermés !!

Che dire il viaggio con Bo è un' esperienza..un viaggio lento, nella natura.. non c è niente che ti faccia sentire più libera! Direi che le foto parlano da sole!! Propriétaire sympathique, arrangeant et disponible. Véhicule très mignon et bien aménagé ! Il ne faut pas s’attendre au grand luxe bien sûr, mais il reste confortable et conforme aux attentes.

Séjour qui aurait été parfait si nous n’avions pas été victimes d’un vol (porte du véhicule forcée). Le plus embêtant, c’était nos valises volées avec tous nos vêtement. Donc conseil aux suivants : ne laissez jamais rien de valeur dans un van (celui ci ou un autre), et sortez vos vêtements préférés de vos valises pour ne pas qu’ils disparaissent avec.

Nous sommes un couple qui avons loué le camion pendant 12 nuits. Concernant le van : Le van est comme sur les photos et dispose de tous les équipements cités. Il est petit, pratique pour les manœuvres, et facile d'utilisation. Le van a très bien été aménagé et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire. Le frigo est puissant et plutôt grand. La batterie est très bien chargée par le panneau solaire, nous n'avons jamais été à court d'électricité. Il manquerait peut être juste un mini toilette sèche portable. Concernant la conduite : Il n'y a pas de direction assistée mais le van se conduit quand même très bien, il faut prendre le temps et aller doucement dans les virages. En vitesse de croisière, vous pouvez aller jusqu'à 80km/h. Le camion consomme peut, sur tout le voyage nous avons dépensé environ 14€/100km. Concernant Leonardo : Il est très serviable et disponible. Nous avons eu un petit problème de pompe et son frère est vite venu nous régler le problème. Nous avons aussi eu un problème d'enssablement (/!\ Ne faites pas ça, n'allez pas dans les zones sableuses/!\) et Leonardo est venu nous sauver très rapidement alors qu'il aurait pu nous laisser nous débrouiller seuls. En conclusion, nous avons adoré notre voyage au Portugal avec la vanette orange, elle sera un bon compagnon de route pour un voyage jusqu'à 10 jours, au delà, c'est peut-être un peu fatiguant. Les highlights du voyage : Faire du parapente sur la côte de l'Alentejo avec Hugo @hugo.gaudencio Découvrir la punta da piedade en stand up paddle au lever du soleil (seuls, sans le tumulte des touristes) avec @sygmasupschool Merci à Leonardo, son frère et sa compagne pour leur aide salvatrice. Great experience ! The van was very nice and well equipped

Nous avons adoré ce van. Très bien équipé: un lit très confortable, un évier avec de l’eau presque courante, une douche portative, de quoi cuisiner. Le van est comme neuf, hyper bien entretenu, tout le monde s’arrêtait pour nous poser des questions sur le van et le trouvait super beau ! Leonardo a été d’une grande aide durant ce séjour et a été très flexible pour la remise et le rendu du van. Je trouve ça juste dommage de ne pas inclure les draps et coussins dans le prix (20€ supplémentaire) et les frais de ménage sont aussi en supplément (40€) donc à prévoir dans son budget ! Expérience et voyage incroyable dans ce van, merci encore 😍

Fizemos a nossa primeira Vantrip, e tudo correu bem! A carrinha estava super bem estimada, a limpeza top e a viagem correu super bem, é uma Vanette que está em muito bom estado e foi super divertida a viagem. Cumpriu de modo que haveremos de repetir!

Tutto perfetto! Il van si guida molto bene, il volante è solo un po duro nelle manovre ma poi ti abitui. Le dimensioni sono comode quasi come fosse una semplice macchina di grandi dimensioni. Al massimo fa il 110 km-h.

Io sono alto un metro e novanta e nel materasso ci stavo benissimo, anche come larghezza: è sufficientemente soffice e morbido. La notte con le tendine fa buio bene. Viste le temperature estive diurne, la notte non abbiamo mai avuto caldo e abbiamo usato la copertina.

La notte si può caricare il telefono anche a veicolo spento. Il lavandino è molto comodo. Il frigo fa freddo perfetto anche la notte e ci sta tanta roba. Gli armadietti che ci sono per vestiti e cibo sono grandi. Noi abbiamo messo le valigie sotto al letto.

Il fornellino è semplicissimo da usare e sicuro.

L'unica cosa che manca è un wc chimico portatile per le emergenze notturne.

Ragazzi questo van è il più bello di tutti e Leonardo è veramente super disponibile! Esperienza indimenticabile!

Veramente tutto perfetto. Leonardo ci ha spiegato tutto prima di prendere il Van. Il viaggio è stato assolutamente al di sopra delle aspettative. Da rifare assolutamente. 

Un viaggio mozzafiato che ci ha portato da Lisbona fino a vila nova de milfontes per poi risalire poco a poco fino a Lisbona. Il mezzo è un furgoncino verde , comodissimo , con tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno ( lavandino, usb , luce interiore , frigo ). Siamo riusciti a fare una settimana di viaggio con un pieno ! Il proprietario , una persona stupenda , tranquilla e sempre disponibile !!

Esperienza fantastica! Abbiamo fatto 800 km con il vannette! Comodo pratico e Leonardo il proprietario persona super precisa e affidabile! Consiglio! 

The van was perfect for our trip and in very good conditions. Leonardo was very kind and showed us everything we needed to know. We had no trouble. Looking forward to take it again! 

Very nice van with all needed equipments. It’s small so really easy to park. Nice to drive an old van like this.

On arrival there was someone else than Leonardo. We knew that. He gave us clear explanations about the van. Everything worked properly and the van was clean. We had no problems on the road. Très bonne lcoation. La voiture est une vielle voiture old school qui vous donnera la meilleure des allures.
Comme toute vielle voiture, pas de direction assisté, mais ce minivan se manipule très bien et est très agreable à conduire. La consommation d'essence est aussi très faible tant que vous roulez à ~70km/h.

En bref, je recommande l'experience

Impecável! Fizemos a costa vicentina em 6 dias, não tivemos qualquer problema. A caravana consegue ir a sítios onde o acesso de carro não é o mais simples, conseguindo assim ter maior privacidade e vistas desimpedidas, que no nosso caso era o que procurávamos. Além disso dormimos sempre bem, muito confortáveis na cama de casal, conseguimos fazer as nossas refeições e o duche portátil consegue armazenar a água suficiente para o banho de 2 pessoas . 5 estrelas !! 

Super van très agréable à conduire pour voyager à travers le Portugal. Quelques points négatifs cependant : le lit est beaucoup plus petit qu'annoncé (environ 110cm). Le frigo n'est pas vraiment un frigo mais une glacière utilisable uniquement de jour (nous devions le débrancher la nuit...).

À part ça nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce van ! 

Leonardo's van was great, comfortable and well equipped. We had a lovely week on the vicentine coast and would recommend it 100%

Breakdown on the second day - no refund. 

 

We booked this van for 12 nights in July based on the great reviews. Before beginning the trip Leonardo was easy to reach, he'd usually answer non-urgent questions within a day or two. We were told where to pick the van up from and made our way there on the first day of our trip. 

 

Leonardo did not meet us at the van, but sent a friend instead - this would have been totally fine but his English wasn't great, which made communication difficult and he didn't seem to know much about the van at all. We even pointed out some features that he forgot to show us. One thing he did do, however, was point at the dashboard lights and say 'light on/off - ok'. Since it is quite an old vehicle we thought there must be a light which sometimes goes on and off without any consequences.

 

The handover took barely 20 minutes and we had many unanswered questions. Supposedly the owner is supposed to drive the van with us in it and then let us have a go at driving it while he is a passenger too, but that didn't happen. It was just a very quick tour of the vehicle and some documents to be signed. 

 

Once on the trip, the quick communication with Leonardo stopped. He either wouldn't reply or would give a rude message to say he was busy, despite the fact that we were having van troubles. 

 

On the morning of the second day the oil light began to flicker in red. The bumpier or bendier the road, the more it flickered. It seemed very much like a loose connection and we thought, 'this must be what he meant by light on/off - ok'. We texted Leonardo before we drove that morning to see if he could confirm if this was ok or not. After a long wait, we did not get a reply and had to continue on our journey - we couldn't just sit and wait around for hours on day number 2. Shortly after, the oil light became solid red and as we stopped by the side of the road the van would not start again. 18 hours into the holiday, maybe not even 3 hours of driving. Even at this point we could not get hold of Leonardo, finally getting a response after many attempts. 3 hours by the side of the road before the assistance he arranged finally arrived.

 

At first Leonardo was actually very understanding and said we would get both the deposit and the rent back. He offered us another van to use, but we decided we weren't comfortable taking another and had lost trust. The roadside assistance took the van and we had to make other plans for our remaining 11 days, booking hotels and a rental car, etc. 

 

Leonardo assured us that he would take care of everything, talk to Yescapa and the next Monday we would have a refund of our deposit. Turns out this wasn't true.

 

Over the course of the rest of our holiday we had a lot of phone calls back and forth with Yescapa and it turned out Leonardo had decided he didn't want to give our money back. Yescapa officially decided that it was unclear who was at fault for the damages to the van so the cost of repairs was split 50/50. But what about the 11 days of holiday we did not use? Leonardo's argument is that he offered us a replacement van but nothing says we HAVE to take that. We opted for a refund because he said he would give us one. 

 

In short, we paid almost 1800 euros for one night. Yescapa tells us to contact Leonardo in order to settle a refund. Leonardo tells us it is up to Yescapa to make the decision. As such, we are getting nowhere. Yescapa's final decision for cause of damage was 'unclear', therefore we paid half each for the repairs. What we don't understand is how we can not be owed a refund for at least 11/12 holiday days, since the cause of damage was labelled 'unclear'! And now, he is not even willing to answer to my messages.

 

I WOULD ADVISE EVERYONE AGAINST RENTING FROM LEONARDO.

 

It seems he has done a good job renting out in the past, but didn't deem it worth the effort to properly deliver the car himself or to respond to messages regarding problems with his car.

 

For us it was the first and the last time with Leonardo and Yescapa. 

Nous avons loué le Van de Leonardo pour un voyage de quasiment 3 semaines et ce fut fantastique. Le van est magnifique, très facile à manoeuvrer, compact et très bien pensé/aménagé ! Nous n'avons eu aucun soucis. A priviligier les routes nationales plutôt que l'autoroute pour un meilleur confort de conduite (au-dessus de 90km/h, le moteur est bruyant). Et puis, les paysages sont plus sympas comme ça ! Très simple d'utilisation pour un maximum de plaisir, je recommande les yeux fermés.

Leonardo est de très bon conseil, dispo pour toutes questions !

It was such an adventure with this orange van! Very easy to drive and very confortable to sleep. This van is everithing you need for a wonderful experience in Portugal!! Leonardo, the owner, is such a great man, a good friend, he explained us everything we need to know about this kind of trip.

The vanette is in a perfect state and it is furnished with everything you need.

The communication with Leonardo is super easy and he is very accomodating.

I definitively recommend traveling with this vintage van which will make your trip unique!

Tout est parfait, du premier contact à la restitution. Quel plaisir de longer le littoral de l'Alentejo en prenant son temps dans ce joli van bien équipé ! Possibilité de gérer son transfert de l'aéroport avec un ami du propriétaire. Merci à Leonardo et à Marco.

Excellente expérience avec ce van et son propriétaire. Le van est très pratique et très propre. Très bien équipé. Excellente communication et services de la part du propriétaire. 

The owner was super sympathic and flexible as we asked to get the car a little bit later than previously arranged + he gave us a ride to the airport!

The car itself is fun! Not the fastest but super comfy and it literally has everything inside what you need to spend a few relaxed days next to the coastline.

As the owner created the equipment of the inside himself you can feel the love in the details.

What was also super beneficial was the height: As some parking spots are restricted to a vehicle height of 2,20m, we had no problems to fit perfectly and had so much space on to ourselves.

Definitely recommending to rent the van. (Propably coming back next xear and doing the same ;))

It was incredible! Fábio and Leonardo were available for all our questions, the vehicle was in superb conditions and it was a magnificent experience. The vehicle has everything you need for a trip and it couldn’t be more beautiful. To repeat for sure. It couldn’t be better!

I and my girlfriend rented this van for 2 weeks. Our experience was fantastic and we loved it. The van has the perfect dimensions to travel and to join every place. The best for a couple.

And above all, Fabio and Leonardo are very helpful and kind people. They helped me and my girlfriend with a lot of suggestions and answering to every doubt during our trip.

Esperienza increible

Fell in love with this van over the course of our one week with her on the coast south of Lisbon. She has everything you need in a small package, which made driving to secluded spots on unmapped roads much more manageable than with a larger camper. 

Leonardo was available whenever we needed him, which was basically never since the van never had any problems. 

Nous avons passé 10jours inoubliables avec ce van. Chaque nuit a été passée dans un endroit magnifique et isolé. 

Nous avons réalisé une boucle au départ de Lisbonne :

2. Lagos
3. Beja
4. Evora
5. Sesimbra

C'est un van simple avec ses avantages et ses contraites

Les proprietaires sont disponibles et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes.

Avantages :

• Il est petit, il est donc possible de se garer facillement en ville ou sur des parkings interdits au campingcar
• Passe partout (nous n'avons pas eu de probleme avec les nombreux chemin de terre qui longent la cote portugaise) 
• Consomation raisonnable : 900 km > 2 pleins Soit 90 €
• Aucun probleme mécanique 
• Facile à maneuvrer 
• Simplicité d'utilisation  / Rangement
• Accesoire proposé (Douche solaire, parasol, vaisselle, Enceinte bluetooth)
• Reserve de 20 litres d'eau
• 2 chargeurs USB à l'arrière et 1 à l'avant (sur l'allume cigare)

Contraites : Autonomie & confort limité : ce n'est pas un campingcar et c'est pour ca qu'on adore la vanette !! :-) 

• Le lit est asssez petit (1m20 sur 1m70) > les pieds dépassent et on dort serré  :-) 
• il faut rouler un peu tout les jours pour recharger le batterie secondaire utilisée pour la glacière 
• Conduite à l'ancienne : pas de direction assistée / pas de Clim 
• Véhicule bruyant au dessus de 80km/h (mais comme on choisit de rouler sur les jolies routes nationnalles cela ne pose pas de problème)

De retour en France et la Yellow Vanette nous manque déjà ! Nous avons un super road trip de la Vanette très fonctionnelle et agréable à conduire. Nous remercions les propriétaires qui ont répondu à toutes nos questions avant le départ et Marco pour sa gentillesse et ses conseils. 

Nous recommandons ce véhicule à tous les amoureux de la route qui veulent se perdre sur les falaises Portugaises !
