Welcome to Carrinha do Paraíso! 🚐

We’re thrilled to have you embark on a journey with our tiny paradise on wheels!

In 2025, we converted this rusty old van into our (second) tiny home on wheels to explore the magic that Portugal has to offer. Upon arrival, we’ll do a short tour so you will know all the essential #vanlifehacks to ensure a smooth journey :-)

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need incl. a gas stove, a fridge (20L), an espresso maker, and all kitchen essentials. You can also find two jerry cans below the sink: 1) clean water (13L) and 2) grey water (13L).

There are two drawers below the sofabed with plenty of space for personal storage. The back drawer even fits a small suitcase if needed :)

At daytime, you can use the living area and its pop-up table (47 x 50cm) to eat, relax, or work. At night, simply pull out the top of the drawers to turn the sofa into a comfy bed (180 x 112cm). You will be provided with all the bed linen.

The best part: you can use the two beach chairs and the small, foldable table to extend the living area and create a cozy outdoor space.

The van is equipped with a portable, outdoor shower—perfect after a swim or a long hike. A foldable, portable compost toilet is stored beneath the passenger seat. For privacy, use the shower curtain to create an “outdoor bathroom” in the back of the van.

The van runs on solar energy to support eco-friendly travel. A portable EcoFlow battery is also provided, incl. 2 USB-A ports, 1 USB-C port, a standard plug, and a portable solar panel—ideal for charging your devices on the go.

Need reliable connectivity while traveling? Request Starlink (€50/week) for high-speed internet access wherever you go. You’ll get fast WiFi with typical download speeds of 200–300 Mbps—perfect for remote work, streaming, or video calls.

You can also use Bluetooth and CarPlay to easily connect your smartphone for music, navigation, and hands-free calls.

To make your #vanlife more enjoyable, Carrinha do Paraíso comes with a few extras:
