A small 4×4 for an Asturian mountain adventure

The Snoozuki is a classic Suzuki 4×4 with a cosy roof tent and a simple off-grid camping setup for two.

Based in the Quirós / Teverga area, close to the Las Ubiñas mountains, it is an easy and memorable way to explore a quieter side of Asturias: green valleys, mountain roads, rivers, small villages and places that are often missed when travelling quickly.

There is plenty to discover, whether you enjoy climbing, caving, mountain walking or gentle strolls through the valleys. The Las Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park has something for everyone. Think of it as a quieter alternative to the Picos de Europa: dramatic mountain scenery, but without the crowds.

The Snoozuki can take you higher into the mountains and closer to the start of a route, making it easier to reach walks, climbing areas and peaceful places that would otherwise be harder to access. Park near a remote crag, set up your base camp and spend the day exploring.

Explore at your own pace

We provide a local map with suggested scenic 4×4 routes, gentle tracks, viewpoints, river swimming spots, short walks and possible overnight stops, together with practical notes on nearby villages, bars and small shops.

You can follow the suggestions closely or simply use them as a starting point for your own adventure. There is plenty to discover without needing to cover large distances or plan everything in advance.

Driving the Snoozuki is part of the experience. It is compact, capable and full of character — ideal for taking your time, enjoying the landscape and reaching places that an ordinary campervan may not.

The setup is simple, flexible and easy to use. There is no built-in bathroom, so you can choose the approach that suits your trip: campsites and local facilities, or a more back-to-basics outdoor experience.

The Snoozuki is a carefully maintained classic vehicle, best enjoyed at a relaxed pace. The suggested routes are chosen for scenic exploration and to take you deeper into the landscape, rather than for technical off-roading.

Guests should follow local rules for access, parking and overnight stays. We are happy to share practical advice so that you can explore the area confidently and respectfully.

Communication and handover are available in Spanish or English.

Collection and return are arranged in the Quirós area as standard. Pickup and return from Asturias Airport (OVD) or Oviedo are also available as optional extras by prior arrangement.
